The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came in to see me while an effeminate man was with me. I heard him say to Abdullah bin Abu Umaya, the brother of Umm Salama, "Abdullah, if Allah grants you victory over Taif tomorrow, you must get the daughter of Ghaylan, for she comes forward with four folds and turns away with eight."The Prophet ﷺ then said, "These people must not enter upon you women."
دخل علي رسول الله ﷺ وعندي مخنث، فسمعته يقول لعبد الله بن أبي أمية أخي أم سلمة: يا عبد الله! أرأيت إن فتح الله عليكم الطائف غدا، فعليكم بابنة غيلان. فإنها تقبل بأربع وتدبر بثمان. فقال النبي ﷺ: ((لا يدخلن هؤلاء عليكن)).
Narrated by Bukhari (5887) and Muslim (2180). Bukhari said, "'She comes forward with four' means the four folds of her belly, so she comes forward with them, and his saying 'and turns away with eight' means the extremities of these four folds, because they encircle both sides until they meet."I say, the folds (al-ikan) are the creases in the belly caused by fatness.
