A woman from the Ansar came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ spoke with her privately and said, "By the One in whose hand is my soul, you are the most beloved of people to me," repeating it three times.
جاءت امرأة من الأنصار إلى رسول الله ﷺ، قال: فخلا بها رسول الله ﷺ وقال: والذي نفسي بيده إنكم لأحب الناس إلي ثلاث مرات.
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Marriage (5234) and Muslim in the Book of the Virtues of the Companions (2509/175), both from Muhammad bin Bashshar, who said, Muhammad bin Jafar Ghundar narrated to us, who said, Shubah narrated to us, from Hisham bin Zayd, who said, I heard Anas bin Malik say, then he mentioned it.His saying, "he withdrew with her," means he moved away from the gathering of the people.
