The Prophet of Allah ﷺ used to visit all of his wives in a single night, and at that time he had nine wives.In another narration, the Prophet ﷺ used to go around to all of his wives in a single hour of the night or day, and they were eleven.The narrator said, I asked Anas, "Was he able to do that?"He replied, "We used to say that he was given the strength of thirty men."
إن نبي الله ﷺ كان يطوف على نسائه في الليلة الواحدة، وله يومئذ تسع نسوة. وفي رواية: كان النبي ﷺ يدور على نسائه في الساعة الواحدة من الليل والنهار وهن إحدى عشرة قال: قلت لأنس: أو كان يطيقه؟ قال: كنا نتحدث أنه أعطي قوة ثلاثين.
Bukhari related it in the Book of Marriage (5215) from Abdul-Ala bin Hammad, who said, Yazid bin Zuray told us, Saeed told us, from Qatada, that Anas bin Malik related it to them, and he mentioned it. The other narration is in the Book of Ghusl (268), from Muhammad bin Bashshar, who said, Muaz bin Hisham told us, my father, who is Hisham Dastawai, told me, from Qatada, who said, Anas bin Malik told us, and he mentioned it.Then Bukhari, right after it, pointed to the previous narration by saying, "And Saeed said, from Qatada, that Anas related to them, nine wives." Ibn Hajar reconciled the two narrations by interpreting Hisham's narration as including Maria and Rayhana among them, applying the term "his wives" to them by way of generalization. See Fath al-Bari (1/378).Note, Humaydi mentioned the two narrations among the unique reports of Bukhari in his book Al-Jam Bayn Al-Sahihayn (2040), then said, "And Muslim related a portion of this from the hadith of Hisham bin Zayd bin Anas, from Anas, that the Prophet ﷺ used to go around to his wives with a single ghusl."
