It is as if I can still see the dust rising in the alley of Banu Ghanm, the procession of Jibreel as the Messenger of Allah ﷺ set out toward Banu Qurayzah.
كأني أنظر إلى الغبار ساطعا في زقاق بني غنم، موكب جبريل حين سار رسول الله ﷺ إلى بني قريظة.
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Military Expeditions (4118) from Musa, who said, Jareer bin Hazim reported to us, from Humayd bin Hilal, from Anas, and he mentioned it. Musa here is Ibn Ismail al-Tabudhaki, as he explicitly stated in the Book of the Beginning of Creation (3214), narrating it from him, from Jareer.He also narrated it from Ishaq, who is Ibn Rahawayh, from Wahb bin Jareer, from his father, from Humayd bin Hilal, but he limited it to his words, "It is as if I can see the dust rising in the lane of Banu Ghanm." He said, Musa added, "the procession of Jibreel." This means that he presented "the procession of Jibreel" here as a suspended addition, then connected it with a full chain in the Book of Military Expeditions from him, as you have seen.Banu Ghanm is a clan of Khazraj, namely Banu Ghanm bin Malik bin Najjar. As for his words "the procession of Jibreel," the mawkib is a particular manner of traveling, referring to a group of horsemen, or a group of riders moving along gently.
