Someone asked, "Messenger of Allah, which woman is best?"He replied, "The one who pleases him when he looks at her, obeys him when he commands her, and does not go against his wishes regarding herself or his wealth in ways he dislikes."
قيل يا رسول الله! أي النساء خير؟ قال: التي تسره إذا نظر، وتطيعه إذا أمر، ولا تخالفه في نفسها ومالها بما يكره.
Nasai (3231) narrated it from Qutayba bin Saeed, who said, "Layth narrated to us, from Ibn Ajlan, from Saeed bin Abu Saeed Maqburi, from Abu Hurairah," and he mentioned it. Hakim graded it sahih (2/161-162) and reported it through this same route.I say, its chain is hasan due to the discussion surrounding Ibn Ajlan, though his hadith is hasan.Ahmad (7421) and Bayhaqi (7/82) and others also narrated it through his route.
