Commentary
Zia-ur-Rahman Azami
Bukhari narrated it in the Beginning of Creation (3232), and Muslim in Faith (174), both from Abu Ishaq Shaybani, who said, I asked Zirr bin Hubaysh about the words of Allah 
"and he was at a distance of two bow-lengths or nearer" [Najm 53:9], and he said, Abdullah bin Masud told me, and he mentioned the hadith.In a version reported by Bukhari (3233), Abdullah bin Masud said, "He saw a green covering that blocked the horizon of the sky."
