Abdullah bin Umar reported that he was on a journey with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, riding a young camel belonging to Umar that was difficult to control. The camel kept getting ahead of the Prophet ﷺ, so his father would say, "Abdullah, no one should go ahead of the Prophet ﷺ."The Prophet ﷺ said to him, "Sell it to me."Umar replied, "It is yours."So he bought it, then said, "It is yours, Abdullah. Do with it whatever you wish."
أنه كان في سفر مع رسول الله ﷺ، وكان على بكر صعب لعمر. فكان يتقدم النبي ﷺ، فيقول أبوه: يا عبد الله، لا يتقدم النبي ﷺ أحد. فقال له النبي ﷺ: بعنيه. فقال عمر: هو لك، فاشتراه، ثم قال لعبد الله: هو لك يا عبد الله، فاصنع به ما شئت.
