The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Accept the invitation when you are invited, do not refuse a gift, and do not strike the Muslims."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: أجيبوا الداعي، ولا تردوا الهدية، ولا تضربوا المسلمين.
Ahmad (3838), Bukhari in Adab al-Mufrad (157), Bazzar in Kashf Astar (1243), and Tabarani in al-Kabir (10/242) all narrated it, and Ibn Hibban graded it sahih (5603), all of them through routes from Amash, from Shaqiq, from Abdullah, who mentioned it. Its chain of transmission is sahih.
