I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Whoever takes land unjustly will be made to carry its soil to the place of gathering on the Day of Judgment."
سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول: من أخذ أرضا بغير حق كلف أن يحمل ترابها إلى المحشر.
Ahmad (17558) narrated it from Ismail bin Muhammad (who is Abu Ibrahim al-Muaqqib), who said, Marwan, meaning al-Fazari, narrated to us, Abu Yafur narrated to us, from Abu Thabit, who said, I heard Yaala bin Murra, and he related it.Its isnad is hasan because of Abu Thabit, who is Ayman bin Thabit al-Kufi, the freedman of Banu Thalaba. Abu Dawud said, "There is no harm in him." Ibn Hibban mentioned him in his Thiqat (48/4).Through his route, it was narrated by Tabarani in al-Kabir (22/270), Abd bin Humayd (406), and Ibn Hibban in al-Thiqat, and in Sahih (5164).Abu Yafur is Abdul-Rahman bin Ubayd bin Nistas, with the nun vowelled with kasrah and the sin sakin, and he is among the men of Sahih.
