The Prophet ﷺ forbade the sale of fruit until it ripens, and none of it may be sold except for Dinars and dirhams, with the exception of araya transactions.
نهي النبي ﷺ عن بيع الثمر حتى يطيب، ولا يباع شيء منه إلا بالدينار والدرهم إلا العرايا.
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Sales (2189) via Ibn Jurayj, from Ataa and Abu Zubayr, from Jabir, and he mentioned it.Muslim narrated it in the Book of Sales (1536:53) from two other narrators, from Abu Zubayr, with only the first half of it, and he did not say, "and nothing of it should be sold..."He also narrated it via Amr bin Dinar, from Jabir, with the wording, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade the sale of fruit before its soundness becomes evident."
