The Messenger of Allah ﷺ cursed the one who consumes usury, the one who pays it, the one who records it, and its two witnesses. He said, "They are all equal."
لعن رسول الله ﷺ آكل الربا، وموكله، وكاتبه، وشاهديه. وقال: هم سواء.
Muslim narrated it in the chapter on sharecropping (1598), via Hushaym, who said, Abu Zubayr informed us, from Jabir, who said, then he mentioned it.
