Abdullah bin Abu Qatada reported,

Abu Qatada was looking for a man who owed him a debt. The man had been hiding from him, and when Abu Qatada finally found him, the man said, "I am in financial difficulty."Abu Qatada asked, "By Allah?"The man replied, "By Allah."Abu Qatada said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'Whoever wishes that Allah save him from the distress of the Day of Resurrection, let him grant relief to one in difficulty or forgive his debt.'"
