Abu Masud Uqba bin Amr reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "A man from those who lived before you was brought to account, and no good was found in his record except that he used to deal with people, and being a man of wealth, he would instruct his servants to overlook the debts of those in hardship."He said, "Allah عز وجل said, 'We are more deserving of that than he is. Overlook his sins.'"
