The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to the one owed a right, "Take your right with dignity, whether in full or not in full."
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال لصاحب الحق: خذ حقك في عفاف واف، أو غير واف.
Ibn Majah (2422) narrated it from Muhammad bin Muammal bin Sabbah Qaysi, who said, Muhammad bin Muhabbab Qurashi told us, who said, Saeed bin Saaib Taifi told us, from Abdullah bin Yamin, from Abu Hurairah, and he related it.Its isnad is hasan because of Abdullah bin Yamin Taifi.
