The Prophet ﷺ passed by me at al-Abwa, or at Waddan, and he was asked about the people of a dwelling among the polytheists who are attacked at night, during which their women and children are struck. He said, "They are among them."And I heard him say, "There is no protected pasture except for Allah and His Messenger."
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Jihad (3012) and Muslim in the Book of Jihad (1745), both from the hadith of Sufyan bin Uyayna, from Zuhri, from Ubaydullah, from Ibn Abbas, from Saab bin Jathama, and he related it. The wording given is that of Bukhari, and Muslim's wording is the same except that he did not mention his statement, "And I heard him say, 'There is no protected land except for Allah and His Messenger.'"
