Sabra bin Abdul-Aziz bin Rabi reported,

He reported from his father, from his grandfather, that the Prophet ﷺ stopped at the place where the mosque now stands, beneath a large tree, and remained there for three days. Then he set out for Tabuk, and the tribe of Juhaynah caught up with him at ar-Rahbah.He asked them, "Who owns Dhu al-Marwa?"They replied, "The clan of Rifa from Juhaynah."He said, "I have granted it to the clan of Rifa."So they divided it among themselves. Some of them sold their shares, while others kept theirs and cultivated the land. Then I asked his father Abdul-Aziz about this hadith, and he related part of it to me but did not relate the whole of it.
