Amash reported,

We were discussing pledges given as security in transactions involving deferred payment in the presence of Ibrahim, and he said, Aswad related to me from Ayesha that the Prophet ﷺ purchased some food from a Jewish man on credit for a specified term, and he pledged to him an iron coat of mail as security.

عن الأعمش قال

تذاكرنا عند إبراهيم الرهن في السلف، فقال: حدثني الأسود، عن عائشة-رضي الله عنها- أن النبي ﷺ: اشترى من يهودي طعاما إلى أجل معلوم، وارتهن منه درعا من حديد.
