The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When one of you completes his pilgrimage, let him hasten his return journey to his family, for that is greater in reward for him."
إن رسول الله ﷺ قال: إذا قضى أحدكم حجه فليعجل الرحلة إلى أهله، فإنه أعظم لأجره.

Daraqutni (2790) and Hakim (1/477), and from him Bayhaqi (5/259), all narrated it, all of them from the hadith of Abu Marwan Muhammad bin Uthman Uthmani, who said, "Abu Damra Laythi narrated to us, from Hisham bin Urwa, from Urwa, from Ayesha," and he related it.Hakim said, "Sahih according to the standard of the two sheikhs." This is an error on his part, for Abu Marwan Muhammad bin Uthman is not among the narrators of the two sheikhs. Rather, Ibn Majah and Nasai in Khasais narrated from him, though he is disputed. Abu Hatim, Salih Jazara, and Dhahabi affirmed his reliability, except that he narrates unusual reports from his father. This report is not among them, so it is hasan in hadith status.Abu Damra Laythi is Anas bin Iyad Laythi, a trustworthy narrator among the narrators relied upon by the community.
