The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever purifies himself at home and then goes to the mosque of Quba and prays a prayer there, will have a reward like that of an Umrah."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: ومن تطهر في بيته، ثم أتى مسجد قباء، فصلى فيه صلاة، كان له كأجر عمرة.
Nasai reported it (2/37), Ibn Majah (1412), and Hakim graded it sahih (3/12), all of them from the hadith of Muhammad bin Sulayman Kirmani, who said, "I heard Abu Umama bin Sahl bin Hunayf say, 'Sahl bin Hunayf said,'" and he then related it. Hakim said, "Its isnad is sahih."I say, it contains Muhammad bin Sulayman al-Madani al-Qubai, from whom a group of narrators transmitted, and Ibn Hibban deemed him trustworthy. His hadith is hasan, because he was corroborated, as Bukhari related in his Tarikh (8/379), and it has other evidence supporting it. See the Book of Prayer.
