We saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ delivering a sermon during the middle days of Tashriq while we were beside his mount. This was the sermon the Prophet ﷺ delivered at Mina.
رأينا رسول الله ﷺ يخطب بين أوسط أيام التشريق، ونحن عند راحلته، وهي خطبة النبي ﷺ التي خطب بمنى.
Abu Dawud (1952) narrated it from Muhammad bin Ala, who said, "Ibn Mubarak narrated to us, from Ibrahim bin Nafi, from Ibn Abu Najeeh, from his father, from two men from Banu Bakr," and he mentioned it. Its chain of transmission is sahih. Ibn Abu Najeeh's name is Abdullah bin Yasar Makki, and his father, Yasar Makki, was a client of Thaqif, well known by his kunya. Both of them are trustworthy narrators among the men of Muslim.
