Usama reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ departed from Arafah with Usama riding behind him. He kept holding back his mount so firmly that the area behind its ears nearly touched, and Hammad sometimes said, nearly struck, the front of the saddle. He was saying, "People, maintain calmness and dignity, for righteousness does not lie in driving camels hard."

عن أسامة

أن رسول الله ﷺ أفاض من عرفة، ورديفه أسامة فجعل يكبح راحلته حتى إن ذفراها لتكاد أن تمس- وربما قال حماد: أن تصيب- قادمة الرحل. وهو يقول: يا أيها الناس عليكم بالسكينة والوقار، فإن البر ليس في إيضاع الإبل.
