Ali bin Abu Talib reported,

He then mounted Usama behind him and proceeded at a steady pace on his camel. The people were striking their camels right and left, but he paid no attention to them and kept saying, "Calmly, people, calmly." He set out at the moment the sun had set.

عن علي بن أبي طالب، قال

ثم أردف أسامة، فجعل يعنق على ناقته، والناس يضربون الإبل يمينا وشمالا لا يلتفت إليهم ويقول: السكينة أيها الناس، ودفع حين غابت الشمس.
