I was riding behind the Prophet ﷺ, and when the sun set, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ moved on.
كنت ردف النبي ﷺ فلما وقعت الشمس دفع رسول الله ﷺ.
Abu Dawud (1924) narrated it from Ahmad bin Hanbal, who said, "Yaqub told us, my father told us, from Ibn Ishaq, Ibrahim bin Uqba told me, from Kurayb, the freedman of Abdullah bin Abbas, from Usama," and he related it.Its chain is hasan because of Muhammad bin Ishaq, and he has explicitly stated that he heard it directly.
