She said, "I complained to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ that I was unwell, and he said, 'Perform tawaf behind the people while you are mounted.'"She said, "So I performed tawaf riding on my camel, while the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was at that moment praying beside the House, reciting 'By the Mount, and by a Book inscribed' [Tur 52:1–2]."
ﷺ أنها قالت: شكوت إلى رسول الله ﷺ أني أشتكي، فقال: طوفي من وراء الناس وأنت راكبة. قالت: فطفت راكبة بعيري ورسول الله ﷺ حينئذ يصلي إلى جانب البيت وهو يقرأ بالطور وكتاب مسطور.
Malik narrated it in Hajj (123), from Abu Aswad Muhammad bin Abdul-Rahman bin Nawfal, from Urwa bin Zubayr, from Zaynab bint Abu Salama, from Umm Salama, and he related it.Bukhari narrated it in Hajj (1626), and Muslim in Hajj (1276), both by way of Malik, with the same chain. Bukhari did not mention its wording. He then narrated it by way of Abu Marwan Yahya bin Abu Zakariya Ghassani, from Hisham, from Urwa, from Umm Salama, and he related it in similar fashion. In it, he said, "When the dawn prayer is called, perform tawaf on your camel while the people are praying."
