The Prophet ﷺ performed tawaf around the Kaabah during the Farewell Pilgrimage upon his camel, touching the corner with a staff, as he disliked having the people pushed away from him.
طاف النبي ﷺ في حجة الوداع حول الكعبة على بعيره، يستلم الركن كراهية أن يضرب عنه الناس.
Muslim narrated it in the book of Hajj (1274) from Hakam bin Musa Qantari, who said, "Shuayb bin Ishaq told us, from Hisham bin Urwa, from Urwa, from Ayesha," and he related it.Tabarani also narrated it in Al-Awsat (2636) through another route, from Darawardi, from Hisham bin Urwa, with his chain of transmission, except that he said in it, "the year of the conquest." Tabarani said, "No one narrated this hadith from Hisham except Darawardi."This is as he said, and Ayesha's hadith can be understood as referring to more than one occasion.
