The Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed tawaf around the Kabah during the Farewell Pilgrimage while mounted on his she-camel, touching the Black Stone with his curved staff so that the people could see him, so that he would be visible above them, and so that they could ask him questions, for the people had thronged around him.
طاف رسول الله ﷺ بالبيت في حجة الوداع على راحلته يستلم الحجر بمحجنه لأن يراه الناس وليشرف وليسألوه فإن الناس غدوه.
