The Messenger of Allah [[ر9]] performed the tawaf during the Farewell Pilgrimage on a camel, touching the corner with a curved staff.
أن رسول الله ﷺ طاف في حجة الوداع على بعير، يستلم الركن بمحجن.
Bukhari narrated it in the book of Hajj (1607), and Muslim in the book of Hajj (1272), both through the route of Ibn Wahb, who said, Yunus told me, from Ibn Shihab, from Ubaydullah bin Abdullah bin Utba, from Ibn Abbas, as mentioned. Bukhari also narrated it (1632) through another route from him, adding in it, "and he said the takbir."His saying, "with a mihjan." The mihjan is a stick with a curved end.
