The two forms of mutah are permitted only for us, meaning mutah of Hajj and mutah of women.
لا تصلح المتعتان إلا لنا خاصة- يعني متعة الحج ومتعة النساء-.
Muslim narrated it in the chapter on Hajj (1224: 162), from Qutayba bin Saeed, who said, Jareer told us, from Fudayl, from Zubayd, from Ibrahim Taymi, from his father, who said, Abu Dharr said, then he related it.And from Abdul-Rahman bin Abu Shatha, who said, "I came to Ibrahim Nakhai and Ibrahim Taymi and said, 'I am considering combining Umrah and Hajj this year.' Ibrahim Nakhai said, 'But your father would not have considered that.'"Qutayba said, Jareer told us, from Bayan, from Ibrahim Taymi, that he passed by Abu Dharr at Rabaza and mentioned that, so Abu Dharr said, "That was only for us specifically, not for you."Muslim narrated it from Qutayba with his chain of transmission.
