Mutah during the Hajj was exclusively for the companions of Muhammad ﷺ.
كانت المتعة في الحج لأصحاب محمد ﷺ خاصة.
Muslim narrated it in the book on Hajj (1224) through several chains from Ibrahim Taymi, from his father, from Abu Dharr, and he related it.His words, "Combining Hajj with Umrah applied to us," mean dissolving the Hajj into an Umrah. Otherwise, the basic principle of combining Hajj and Umrah is established in the Book of Allah.Athram said in his "Sunan," "Ahmad bin Hanbal mentioned to us that Abdul-Rahman bin Mahdi related to him, from Sufyan, from Amash, from Ibrahim Taymi, from the father of Ibrahim Taymi, from Abu Dharr, concerning combining Hajj and Umrah, that it applied specifically to us. Ahmad bin Hanbal then said, 'May Allah have mercy on Abu Dharr, it is in the Book of Allah ,' " "So whoever avails himself of Umrah before Hajj" [Baqarah 2:196].See "Zad Mad" (2/194).
