The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whenever a Muslim recites the talbiyah, every stone, tree, and clod of earth on his right and on his left recites it along with him, until the earth comes to an end on either side."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: ما من مسلم بي إلا لبى من عن يمينه أو عن شماله من حجر أو شجر أو مدر حتى تنقطع الأرض من هاهنا وهاهنا.
Tirmidhi (828) and Ibn Majah (2921) both narrated it through the route of Ismail bin Ayyash, who said, Umara bin Ghaziya Ansari narrated to us, from Abu Hazim, from Sahl bin Saad, and he mentioned it. Ismail bin Ayyash is the Himsi, truthful in his narration from the people of his own region, but confused in his narration from others. Here, his teacher Umara bin Ghaziya Ansari is not from his own region, rather he is from Madinah, but he did not become confused in this hadith because Ubayda bin Humayd corroborated him.Through his route it was narrated by Tirmidhi, and Ibn Khuzayma (2634), and Hakim (1/451), and from him Bayhaqi (5/43), from Umara bin Ghaziya with his chain, similarly. Hakim said, "Sahih according to the conditions of the two Shaykhs." I say, this is an error on his part, for Ubayda bin Humayd is among the narrators of Bukhari alone, though he is hasan al-hadith.
