The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever grants a debtor in hardship more time, or forgives part of the debt, Allah will shade him on the Day of Resurrection beneath the shade of His Throne, on a day when there is no shade but His."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: من أنظر معسرا، أو وضع له، أظله الله يوم القيامة تحت ظل عرشه، يوم لا ظل إلا ظله.
Tirmidhi (1306) narrated it from Abu Kurayb, who said, "Ishaq bin Sulayman Razi told us, from Dawud bin Qays, from Zayd bin Aslam, from Abu Salih, from Abu Hurairah," and he mentioned it.Imam Ahmad (8711) also narrated the hadith from Ishaq bin Sulayman with his chain, except that he did not mention the phrase, "a day when there is no shade except His shade." Its chain is sahih.Tirmidhi said, "Hasan sahih, gharib by this route."
