The Prophet ﷺ said, "The Throne shook at the death of Saad bin Muaz."
عن النبي ﷺ قال: اهتز العرش لموت سعد بن معاذ.
Imam Ahmad (11184), Abu Yaala (1260), Bazzar - Kashf Astar (2701) -, and Ibn Manda in Tawhid (825) all narrated it through various routes from Awf bin Abu Jameela Arabi, who said, Abu Nadra told us, he said, I heard Abu Saeed, and he related it.Hakim declared it sahih (3/206) and said, "It meets the criteria of Muslim." And it is as he said.
