Abdullah bin Umar reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade a person in the state of ihram from wearing a garment dyed with wars or saffron, and he said, "Whoever cannot find sandals should wear leather socks, but let him cut them so they fall below the ankles."

عن ابن عمر قال

نهى رسول الله ﷺ أن يلبس المحرم ثوبا مصبوغا بورس أو بزعفران، وقال: من لم يجد نعلين فليلبس خفين وليقطعهما أسفل من الكعبين.
