Abdullah bin Umar reported,

A man asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ what clothing a person in the state of ihram should wear. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, "Do not wear shirts, turbans, trousers, hooded cloaks, or leather socks, unless someone cannot find sandals, in which case he may wear leather socks but should cut them below the ankles. And do not wear any garment touched by saffron or wars dye."

Sahih
