This open plain of yours, where you tell lies about the Messenger of Allah ﷺ! The Messenger of Allah ﷺ only began his talbiyah from beside the mosque, meaning the mosque of Dhul-Hulayfah.
بيداؤكم هذه التي تكذبون على رسول الله ﷺ فيها! ما أهل رسول الله ﷺ إلا من عند المسجد يعني مسجد ذي الحليفة.
Malik narrated it in Hajj (30) from Musa bin Uqba, from Salim bin Abdullah, that he heard his father say (as mentioned).Bukhari narrated it in Hajj (1541), and Muslim narrated it in Hajj (1186), both through Malik, with the same chain, and Muslim's wording is similar to it. Bukhari included only the last part.His saying, "your Bayda" - the Bayda is a vast stretch of land at the end of Zulhulayfa, in the direction of Makkah.Matari said, "I have seen many of the pilgrims pass beyond the area around the masjid - meaning the masjid of Zulhulayfa - toward the west, and climb up to the Bayda, thereby certainly passing beyond the boundary point..."Mujam Amkinah Warid Dhikruha fi Sahih Bukhari (p. 97).
