The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The people of Madinah enter ihram from Dhul Hulayfah, the people of Sham from al-Juhfah, and the people of Najd from Qarn."Abdullah bin Umar said, "It also reached me that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'And the people of Yemen enter ihram from Yalamlam.'"
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال: يهل أهل المدينة من ذي الحليفة، ويهل أهل الشام من الجحفة، ويهل أهل نجد من قرن. قال عبد الله بن عمر: وبلغني أن رسول الله ﷺ قال: ويهل أهل اليمن من يلملم.
Malik narrated it in the Hajj (22) from Nafi, from Ibn Umar, in this form. Bukhari also narrated it in the Hajj (1525), and Muslim in the Hajj (1182:13), through the route of Malik, in the same manner.Malik also narrated it (23) from Abdullah bin Dinar, from Abdullah bin Umar, who said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded the people of Madinah to enter the state of ihram from Zulhulayfa, the people of Syria from Juhfah, and the people of Najd from Qarn." Abdullah bin Umar said, "As for these three, I heard them from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and I was told that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'And the people of Yemen should enter the state of ihram from Yalamlam.'"Bukhari also narrated it (1528), and Muslim (1182:14), through the route of Yunus, from Zuhri, from Salim bin Abdullah bin Umar, from his father, in this form, similarly.
