Abdullah bin Abbas reported,

Fadl bin Abbas was riding behind the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when a woman from Khathaam came to seek a religious ruling from him. Fadl kept looking at her and she kept looking at him, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ turned Fadl's face to the other side. She said, "Messenger of Allah, Allah's obligation upon His servants concerning the Hajj has come due while my father is an old man who cannot remain steady upon a riding mount. May I perform the Hajj on his behalf?"He replied, "Yes."This took place during the Farewell Pilgrimage.
