The Prophet ﷺ used to wake his family during the last ten nights of Ramadan.
أن النبي ﷺ كان يوقظ أهله العشر الأواخر من رمضان.
Tirmidhi (795) narrated it from Mahmud bin Ghaylan, who said, Waki narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, from Abu Ishaq, from Hubayra bin Yarim, from Ali, and he related it. Tirmidhi said, "hasan sahih."I say, its grading as hasan is understandable, for Hubayra bin Yarim, on the pattern of "Azeem," is a disputed narrator. Imam Ahmad said, "There is no harm in his hadith." Ibn Hibban mentioned him in Thiqat (5/511). Ibn Saad said, "He was known, but not to that degree." Nasai declared him daif, while Ibn Main and Abu Hatim considered him unknown.Such a narrator's hadith is not problematic, as Ahmad said, especially when there are corroborating witnesses for it.
