Abdullah bin Umar reported,
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever seeks refuge with you in the name of Allah, grant him refuge. Whoever asks you in the name of Allah, give to him. Whoever invites you, accept his invitation. Whoever does you a favor, repay him. If you cannot find the means to repay him, then pray to Allah for him until you are certain that you have repaid him."

Sahihعن ابن عمر، قال
قال رسول الله ﷺ: من استعاذكم بالله فأعيدوه، ومن سألكم بالله فأعطوه، ومن دعاكم فأجيبوه، ومن آتى إليكم معروفا فكافتوه، فإن لم تجدوا فادعوا الله له حتى تعلموا أن قد كافأتموه.
and does not give for His sake and does not give for His sakeAbu Dawud (5109) and Nasai (2568) both narrated it from the hadith of Abu Awana (that is, Waddah al-Yashkuri), from Amash, from Mujahid, from Ibn Umar, and he related it.From this same route, Ahmad (5365) and Hakim (2/63-64) also narrated it, and Hakim said, "Sahih in isnad according to the standard of the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim), though they did not include it due to the disagreement among the companions of Amash."Abu Dawud (1672) narrated it from the hadith of Jareer, from Amash, with his isnad, and Ibn Hibban graded it sahih (3408).Hakim also recorded it (1/412) from the hadith of Ammar bin Zurayq, from Amash, with his isnad, and said, "Sahih according to the standard of the two Shaykhs, for Ammar bin Zurayq has been corroborated in establishing this isnad by Abu Awana, Jareer bin Abdul-Hameed, and Abdul-Aziz bin Muslim al-Qasmali, from Amash."
