Juwayriyah said to the Prophet ﷺ, "I want to free this young slave."He replied, "Give him instead to your maternal uncle who lives among the Bedouins, so he can tend livestock for him. That will bring you a greater reward."
أن جويرية قالت للنبي ﷺ: إني أريد أن أعتق هذا الغلام قال: أعطيه خالك الذي في الأعراب، يرعى عليه، فإنه أعظم لأجرك.

Bazzar narrated it in Kashf Astar (1881) from Muhammad bin Walid Qurashi, who said, Abu Asim (that is, Dahhak bin Makhlad) narrated to us, from Ibn Jurayj, from Abu Zubayr, from Jabir, who said, and then he mentioned it. Its isnad is hasan because of Abu Zubayr Makki, for his hadith is hasan. Ibn Hajar graded it sahih in Mukhtasar Zawaid Bazzar. Haythami said in Majma (8/153), "Bazzar narrated it, and its men are the men of the Sahih."
