Amr bin Taghlib reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was brought some wealth or captives, which he distributed. He gave to some men and left out others. Word reached him that those whom he had left out were displeased. So he praised Allah and gave thanks to Him, then said,"To proceed. By Allah, I give to one man and withhold from another, and the one I withhold from is dearer to me than the one I give to. But I give to certain people because of the impatience and anxiety I see in their hearts, and I entrust other people to the contentment and goodness that Allah has placed in their hearts, among them Amr bin Taghlib."Amr bin Taghlib said, "By Allah, I would not exchange the words of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ for the finest red camels!"
