The Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave Abu Sufyan bin Harb, Safwan bin Umaya, Uyayna bin Hisn, and Aqra bin Habis one hundred camels each, but he gave Abbas bin Mirdas less than that.So Abbas bin Mirdas said,"Do you place my spoils and the spoils of Ubayd between Uyayna and Aqra? Neither Badr nor Habis ever surpassed Mirdas in the assembly, And I am not inferior to either of them, And whomever you lower today shall not be raised."So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ completed his share to one hundred.
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Zakat (1060) from Muhammad bin Abu Umar Makki, who said, Sufyan narrated to us, from Umar bin Saeed bin Masruq, from his father, from Abaya bin Rifa, from Rafi bin Khadij, and he mentioned it.Some scholars said that the Prophet ﷺ gave the ones whose hearts were being won over from the fifth of the fifth.
