Adi bin Hatim reported,
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There is not one of you but his Lord will speak to him directly, with no interpreter between them and no veil to screen him."

Bukhari related it in the Book of Tawhid (7443) from Yusuf bin Musa, who said, "Abu Usama narrated to us, Amash narrated to me, from Khaythama, from Adi bin Hatim," and he related it.Muslim related it in the Book of zakat (1016) through another route from Amash, at greater length, and it will come again in the Book of zakat.
