A woman came in with her two daughters, asking for something. I had nothing with me except a single date, so I gave it to her. She divided it between her two daughters and ate none of it herself, then she got up and left. The Prophet ﷺ came in, and I told him what had happened. He said, "Whoever is tested with anything from these daughters, they will be a shield for him from the Fire."
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Zakat (1418), and Muslim narrated it in the Book of Righteousness and Kinship Ties (2629), both of them via the route of Abdullah, who said, Mamar told us, from Zuhri, who said, Abdullah bin Abu Bakr bin Hazm told me, from Urwa, from Ayesha, and he mentioned it.
