Abu Hurairah and Abu Saeed Khudri reported,
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "A servant will be brought forth on the Day of Resurrection, and Allah will say to him, 'Did I not grant you hearing, sight, wealth, and children? Did I not place cattle and crops at your service, and leave you to lead and prosper? Did you ever imagine you would meet this day of yours?' The servant will reply, 'No.' Then Allah will say to him, 'Today I forget you just as you forgot Me.'"

Hasanعن أبي هريرة وأبي سعيد قالا
قال رسول الله ﷺ: يؤتى بالعبد القيامة فيقول الله له: ألم أجعل لك سمعا وبصرا ومالا وولدا، وسخرت لك الأنعام والحرث، وتركتك ترأس وتربع، فكنت تظن أنك ملاقي يومك هذا؟ فيقول: لا، فيقول له: اليوم أنساك كما نسيتني.
Tirmidhi (2428) narrated it from Abdullah bin Muhammad Zuhri Basri, who said, Malik bin Suayr Abu Muhammad Kufi Tamimi told us, Amash told us, from Abu Salih, from Abu Hurairah and Abu Saeed, and they mentioned it.Tirmidhi said, "This is a hadith sahih ghareeb." Ibn Khuzayma also graded it sahih, recording it in Kitab Tawhid (308) through this same route.I say, its chain is hasan due to the discussion surrounding Malik bin Suayr, for Abu Dawud declared him daif while the others considered him acceptable, and his hadith is hasan. Ibn Hajar said, "There is no harm in him."Tirmidhi said, "The meaning of his saying, 'Today I forget you as you forgot Me,' is, today I leave you in the punishment. Some scholars likewise interpreted this verse, "So today We forget them" [Araf 7:51], saying its meaning is, today We leave you in the punishment."
