The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There is no owner of treasure who fails to pay its zakat except that it will be heated against him in the fire of Hell."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: ما من صاحب كنز لا يؤدى زكاته إلا أحيي عليه في نار جهنم.
Muslim narrated it in the chapter on zakat (987:26), from Muhammad bin Abdul-Malik Umawi, who said, Abdul-Aziz bin Mukhtar narrated to us, who said, Suhayl bin Abu Salih narrated to us, from his father, from Abu Hurairah, and he mentioned it within a long hadith.
