I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "When Allah gathers the servants on a single plain, a caller will announce, 'Let every people follow what they used to worship.' So every people will follow what they used to worship, while the rest of the people remain as they are. Then He will come to them and say, 'Why have the people gone while you remain here?'They will reply, 'We are waiting for our God.'He will ask, 'Would you recognize Him?'They will say, 'If He reveals Himself to us, we will recognize Him.'Then His Shin will be uncovered to them, and they will fall down in prostration. That is the meaning of Allah's words, "On the Day the Shin will be uncovered and they will be called to prostrate, but they will not be able" [Qalam 68:42]. Every hypocrite will remain unable to prostrate. Then He will lead them to Paradise."

Darimi (2845) narrated it from Muhammad bin Yazid Bazzar, from Yunus bin Bukayr, who said, Ibn Ishaq informed me, Saeed bin Yasar informed me, he said, I heard Abu Hurairah say (then he narrated the hadith). Its isnad is hasan because of Ibn Ishaq, that is, Muhammad bin Ishaq, who is a mudallis, but he explicitly stated "informed me," so the concern of tadlis is removed.Ibn Manda narrated it in Radd Ali Jahmiya (8) from Ali bin Ahmad bin Azraq in Egypt, who said, Ahmad bin Muhammad bin Marwan told us... who said, Ahmad bin Muhammad bin Abu Abdullah Baghdadi told us, who said, Yahya bin Hammad told us, who said, Abu Awana told us, from Amash, from Abu Salih, from Abu Hurairah, who said, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "On the Day when the shin will be uncovered" [Qalam 68:42]. He said, "His shin will be uncovered." In the isnad there is someone I do not recognize.
