Umm Salama said, "When Abu Salama died, I thought to myself, 'He is a stranger who has died in a strange land. I will weep over him a weeping that will be talked about.' I had already prepared myself to mourn him when a woman came up from the highlands wishing to join me in lamentation. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ met her and said, 'Do you want to bring Satan into a house from which Allah has driven him out twice?' So I held back from weeping and did not weep."
