When the Prophet ﷺ took the pledge of allegiance from the women, he required them not to wail in mourning. They said, "Messenger of Allah, there are women who assisted us in our mourning during the days of ignorance. May we assist them in return now under Islam?"He ﷺ replied, "There is no mutual assistance in wailing under Islam, no shighar marriage in Islam, no slaughtering of animals at graves in Islam, no jalab, no janab, and whoever plunders is not one of us."
Imam Ahmad narrated it (13032) from Abdul-Razzaq, and it is in his Musannaf (6690) from Mamar, from Thabit, from Anas, who related the hadith similarly. Abu Dawud (3222), Tirmidhi (1601), and Nasai (1852) all narrated it through Abdul-Razzaq in fragmented form, and Ibn Hibban graded it sahih (3146).
