The Prophet ﷺ used to say to a sick person, "In the name of Allah, the dust of our land, mixed with the saliva of one of us, by which our sick is healed, with the permission of our Lord."
أن النبي ﷺ كان يقول للمريض: بسم الله، تربة أرضنا، بريقة بعضنا، يشفى سقيمنا، بإذن ربنا.
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Medicine (5745), and Muslim in the Book of Greetings (2194), both from the hadith of Sufyan, who said, Abd Rabbih bin Saeed narrated to me, from Amrah, from Ayesha, and he mentioned it.In Muslim's version, when a person complained of something paining him, or he had a sore or a wound, the Prophet ﷺ would do this with his finger, and Sufyan placed his index finger on the ground, then lifted it, then he mentioned the hadith.
